Will protected areas remain effective in the face of climate change?

Climate change will cause shifts in the distribution of species, - thus it has to be concerned, which impact this may cause on the effectiveness of protected areas. A new study examines this question by the example of the movement of sub-Saharan birds and developes suggestions for regionally focused management approaches.
